Another wonderful piece(s) and stories by Sarah Kay. Really like it.
What struck me most was the child’s misconception of only being able to live one life, the idea of reading and telling stories in order to live as many lives as possible, the impossibility of having been somewhere else to live another person’s experiences, and the idea of re-writing and re-writing poems to perfectly tell that same story.
Sometimes when I read alot of books, I feel like I have lived many lives.
I wish I could know what it feels like to grow up in New York City.
