Now find it air that once was breath

You that seek what life is in death,
Now find it air that once was breath.
New names unknown, old names gone:
Till time end bodies, but souls none.
Reader! then make time, while you be,
But steps to your eternity.

– Caelica 83 | Baron Brooke Fulke Greville

Wow that’s nice. Saw it in a article on a book inspired by this sonnet. Breath is but air that is from your living body? Air is just breath after death? And at some level, breath is just simply air.
