Reminds me of what I mentioned awhile ago about loving imperfection. Anyway it was a great article on culture in cities, by a lianhezaobao writer too. Nice.

    largely about having better hopes for sg culture and how the chinese writer should appreciate sg culture more, and how she likes it better here although she is so well travelled and other really boring stuff. i think older folks have an overwhelming tendency to impose their opinions.
