The article (I can’t find/get the link atm), said ‘balanced people dont change the world’. Yeah I agree with that. Game-changing ideas always come from radically different thoughts, from odd persons, from those not having a work-life balance, from those so unsatisfied with their lives and the world and the way everything is working. Do it different, do things different, do it better. Of course different and better are pretty subjective terms and not everyone has the same taste, or taste the same, or can even taste at all.
Evolution has progressed by the preferential selection of better performing traits. These traits might be extreme ones, or they might be the mild in betweens. Can’t really say which is the way to go. Can’t really fault the extremities. Can’t really fault the LBGTs. Budden it often is that you need two groups, one that tries to break away, eg. LBGTs, and another that tries to rein it all in, eg. maybe LKY. And life sorta finds a happy balance in between. Anyways, back to the topic – do things different.
P.s. the post title is a glorious example of out-of-context quotation. So wrong.
